Trade compliance

SlipMET s. r. o. is a Slovakia-registered company engaged in physical trade in metals, concentrates, oxides and metal-bearing secondaries. Transactions are structured for industrial counterparties in permitted jurisdictions and are subject to sanctions and trade-compliance screening.

Applicable framework

  • EU and Slovak law applicable to a company registered in the Slovak Republic, including sanctions and trade restrictions.
  • International sanctions lists used in counterparty screening.
  • Rules against circumvention of applicable restrictive measures.

What we do

  • Screen counterparties and their beneficial owners against applicable sanctions lists.
  • Review origin, routing and end-use at a commercially reasonable level.
  • Decline transactions that cannot be documented.
  • Trade only with identifiable business entities.

Our standards

  • We work only with verified industrial counterparties.
  • We buy only from identified, vetted suppliers.
  • We do not deal with anonymous sellers or cash-only counterparties.
  • We do not accept goods of prohibited origin or goods that cannot be documented.
  • No child labour or forced labour in our operations, and we do not buy from a supplier where child labour or forced labour is known or reasonably suspected.
  • Restricted or undocumented lots are declined.

Sanctions and trade restrictions

  • SlipMET is established in the EU and applies applicable EU and Slovak sanctions and trade restrictions to counterparties, goods, origin and routing.
  • Screening is performed before a purchase.
  • Circumvention structures are not used.
  • If origin, end-use or the counterparty cannot be confirmed to the company’s standard, the lot is refused.

Labour and supplier standards

  • SlipMET buys only from checked commercial suppliers.
  • The company does not use child labour or forced labour and will not purchase from a supplier where child labour or forced labour is known or reasonably suspected.
  • This is a trading standard, not a social-audit certificate.

What we do not do

  • No dealings with sanctioned parties.
  • No goods of prohibited origin.
  • No military end-use.
  • No cash-anonymous trades.
  • No retail waste collection.

Materials policy

  • Refined and semi-refined metals, concentrates and metal oxides traded as commercially specified industrial goods for manufacturing or further processing.
  • Only non-restricted metal-bearing secondaries and residues intended for lawful industrial recovery.
  • Battery recycling feedstock is supplied only to licensed downstream processors.

Tax and corporate transparency

  • The company is registered in the Slovak Commercial Register.
  • Statutory identification appears in the footer of every page.
  • Public positioning matches wholesale trading of goods, inspection and testing support, and the arrangement of logistics.

Nature of activity

SlipMET’s public activity is wholesale trading of goods, with inspection/testing support and arranged logistics. Purchases and sales are principal trades: the company takes title and issues / receives invoices in its own name. The website does not offer retail collection and does not describe tax planning, VAT schemes, or non-resident structures.
